Bicycle Music Festival

As the Co-Founder and Co-Director of San Francisco's award-winning annual music festival, I coordinated an army of over 100 volunteers, a dozen bands, worked with diverse community stakeholders ranging from police and parks departments to climate activists, pulled permits, printed posters, and produced a pedaling parade!

Organic Garden Director

As a permaculturist and organic gardener I've grown many metric tons of organic produce (I know because I weighed it), inches of new topsoil, and neighborly community, where before only chemically intensive suburban lawns and abandoned lots had lain languishing.

Elementary Music Education and Performance

As a teacher and performer I inspire lower school children to jump up on their feet and make a joyful noise with their community, to listen carefully to one another and stay in sync with the group, and to enjoy the timeless state of what Émile Durkheim called "collective effervescence."
